Operator-built. Not agency-built.
Mandrel Digital was born out of the gap between what manufacturers need and what marketing agencies deliver.

FounderMost manufacturers make excellent products and have terrible websites. The engineering is world-class; the digital presence is an afterthought. Customers who should be configuring orders at 10pm are leaving voicemails instead. AI systems that should be recommending these companies don't even know they exist.
I acquired a commercial manufacturing company through a search fund, then spent the next few years building the digital tools and content infrastructure I couldn't find anyone else to build. Product configurators, specification generators, AI-powered document analyzers, structured data systems that got us cited in AI answers within days of deployment. Before manufacturing, I served in Army Special Forces. Different world, but the approach carries over: understand the problem, build a plan, execute it.
Mandrel is small and that's intentional. When you hire me, you're working with the person writing the code and building the strategy. I take on a few clients at a time and go deep. If you want a big agency with a slide deck and a 90-day onboarding process, that's not this. If you want someone who's built what you need, for his own company, and can do the same for yours, let's talk.
Why "Mandrel"?
In manufacturing, a mandrel is a shaft or form used to shape material from the inside out. That's how we work. We start with your product data, your processes, your expertise, and we shape them into digital tools that work from the core outward. The name seemed right.
